To Whom It May Concern:
I have been Dr. Schaller's patient for almost two years.
I have found him to be an extremely dedicated physician in constant
pursuit of cutting edge research and treatments. Because he has
obviously studied hard in many select issues that relate to me, his
knowledge in these areas is profound, far surpassing any of the many
well intended physicians I have seen over the 20 plus years of my
medical troubles such as:
- Debilitating fatigue
- Difficulty retrieving common words
- Memory loss
- Difficulty completing tasks
- Trouble focusing
- Excessive sleeping/ 12+ hours a day without feeling refreshed
- Inability to cope with physical, mental and emotional stress
- Exercise intolerance
- Joint aches and pain
He has the professional integrity to apply his knowledge to each
individual and does no "one-size-fits-all" medicine.
Dr. Schaller knows that each patient presents has their own unique set
of medical troubles and symptoms. He has an amazing tenacity to find
each missing link in a complex set of illnesses, as one missed link
can be the difference between recovery and continued illness.
He has also demonstrated a deep commitment to serving his patients
which spans beyond a typical 9 to 5 day. It is not unusual for him to
work long into the evening returning patients' calls, making sure
their questions are answered and is available always for emergencies,
including after routine "office hours."
I feel extremely fortunate to be working with Dr. Schaller.
Quite simply, I wouldn't know what to do without him as a partner in
the battle against my complex medical challenges that were missed for
a decades. I have made clear and profound progress when others were
unable to help me.
I also like that he is very serious about my medical needs, but can
joke and be friendly at the same time.
Sincerely,
Peggy Redmond Smeller
